Our youngest program welcomes babies from 3 months. Our teachers offer a nurturing, loving and caring environment whilst planning activities that help develop a child’s coordination, mobility and fine motor skills. Speelkas is dedicated to making our school a second home for your baby where you feel comfortable, and every moment of your child’s life is cared for.

Our baby class is designed to be a place where our babies feel safe, secure and happy. Our walls are decorated with age-appropriate, stimulating decorations to encourage the creative minds of our littlest learners.  Individual cribs provide comfort and warmth for your baby to benefit from every nap. Our baby class is separate from the older children and follows our ‘baby-only’ play area policy, ensuring clean playing.

At this stage, your toddler begins to enjoy exploring their world. Our toddler program encourages toddlers to use their bodies, senses and their emerging problem-solving skills. Our teachers provide one-on-one attention along with group exercises that ensure your toddler is using their energy in the best possible way. Our curriculum is based on the philosophy that young children learn best through hands-on experiences. We begin more structured activities to begin learning concepts of colours, and size and to start building their vocabulary. Our teachers fill each day with fun activities, helping with the challenges that one-year-olds face.
